Last year, Wilco surprised fans by releasing a full length album of original material, called Star Wars, completely unannounced. This time around, it seems singer Jeff Tweedy is clueing fans in to the band’s future plans.In an interview with The Guardian, Tweedy says that the band has a new album on the way for 2016. The interview reads: “After last year’s Star Wars album, Wilco have another one ready to go this year, Tweedy says.” That one line is sure to raise the eyebrows of longtime fans, eager to hear more sounds from Wilco.Watch Wilco Cover David Bowie’s ‘Space Oddity’ In BrooklynThe remainder of the interview mostly focuses on Tweedy, the project featuring Jeff Tweedy and his son Spencer. “We have a deep, unspoken connection which I chalk up to DNA. A lot of it I’ve done by myself and then Spencer will come by after school and help out.
