If there’s another thing we know, it’s The Golden Girls. It doesn’t get much better than hanging out in Miami with our besties Dorothy, Rose, Blanche and Sophia…oh, except this delightfully tacky video of Bernadette Peters in purple silk genie pants, singing the show’s theme song, “Thank You For Being a Friend” at her 1979 concert. We know, we know, the hit series didn’t premiere until 1985, so Peters is really covering Andrew Gold’s version of the song, but still. She’s a pal and a confidant.
