Garber, Gawande elected into APS

Kenan Jr. Professor of English and Visual and Environmental Studies Marjorie Garber, and Atul Gawande, associate professor of surgery, Harvard Medical School, and associate professor of health policy and management, Harvard School of Public Health.An eminent scholarly organization of international reputation, the society promotes useful knowledge in the sciences and humanities through excellence in scholarly research, professional meetings, publications, library resources, and community outreach. This country’s first learned society, the APS has played an important role in American cultural and intellectual life for more than 250 years.last_img
