(WBNG) — The Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena will soon have a new name after Maine’s Paper and Food’s contract expired in June. Visions will pay Broome County $60,000 per year, and that could increase to $120,000 if the county renovates the arena. Visions will also create a “reserve account dedicated to increasing the number of live events at the arena and Forum Theater”. The Broome County Legislature voted 13 to 1 in favor of giving naming rights to Visions Federal Credit Union. The resolution will allow the name change to take place in 2021, running through 2030.
Cork hurling manager Jimmy Barry-Murphy has made four changes to his side for Sunday’s crucial NHL clash with Kilkenny. Press Association Stephen White comes into the defence for the injured William Egan, while Daniel Kearney will play at midfield. Cian McCarthy replaces the injured Seamus Harnedy in attack, with Stephen Moylan also drafted into the front line.
