(Photo by Harry How/Getty Images)There have been real concerns about this latest edition of the National Championship Game between Alabama and Clemson. The game is, for whatever reason, being held at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California… not exactly a college football hotbed, and a difficult trip for most of your typical championship-level teams.Ticket prices are well below what you’ll get for most big game. The get-in price has been as low as around $100 at times this week, despite a match-up between the two top teams in the country. The fourth-straight post-season appearance between the Crimson Tide and Tigers probably sucks some of the air out of the match-up as well.Based on those at the stadium and some early shots of the game, it looks like Clemson fans may have the edge of Alabama. We still have some time until kickoff but Clemson fans, at the very least, have gotten into the stadium and ready for action earlier. From The Athletic’s Stewart Mandel:It’s still 45 minutes until kickoff but Clemson fans are out in force. The stands are already at least half orange.— Stewart Mandel (@slmandel) January 8, 2019A lot of Clemson fans here but I’m seating in the Alabama section lol not rooting for neither team #Alabama #ClemsonvsAlabama pic.twitter.com/hsYOkS9DVZ— Johnny Gomez (@johnnysfgiants) January 8, 2019Tailgate looked dead. More Bama fans drinking outside. Seems like all the Clemson fans are in already.
