Irishman 30 dies in Melbourne

first_imgAN IRISHMAN WHO sustained serious head injuries on Saturday morning in an incident in Melbourne, Australia has passed away.Victoria Police confirmed that Eoin Murray died in hospital.The 30-year-old Kildare native had been living in Australia for some years and had been granted citizenship in March.His family flew to the city and were keeping vigil at his bedside in the Royal Melbourne Hospital.Authorities are awaiting the results of a post-mortem exam.Eoin was found with serious head injuries in the Fitzroy area of the city on Saturday morning.
