My location LDA, October 18, 2013 此页面无法正确加载 Google 地图。您是否拥有此网站？确定 Print Close zoom The bulk carriers “LEOPOLD LD”, “LA BRIANTAIS” and “LA GUIMORAIS” were named today at the Tianjin Xingang Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. yard in China.The naming ceremony took place in the presence of numerous guests, including representatives of ERAMET and PRONY ENERGIES future charterers of the vessels.The “LEOPOLD LD” is the first of two Capesize bulk carriers (292m long) ordered by the Louis Dreyfus Armateurs Group (LDA). “LA BRIANTAIS” and “LA GUIMORAIS” are the first in a series of four Handysize bulk carriers (180m long) ordered by LDA ROULLIER , a joint venture created by LOUIS DREYFUS ARMATEURS and ROULLIER groups. The ships will fly the Maltese flag .Designed by the Finnish engineering company Deltamarin and CSIC Group in close collaboration with the Newbuilding department of the Louis Dreyfus Armateurs Group, these new bulk carriers incorporate technological innovations designed to minimise fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.The new Capesize design will save about 7,000 tons of CO2 per ship and per year. As for the new Handysize B.Delta37 vessels, more compact than other similar ships, they have a greater intake and use less fuel. In particular, their excellent hull design, based on calculations made by Deltamarin engineers, provides a very shallow draft (10.70m) for 40,000t deadweight. It reduces fuel consumption by 10 to 15% compared to other ships in service and also CO2 emissions by 4,500 tons per Handysize and per year.Finally, the Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI – index that quantifies the amount of CO2 produced per ton of cargo carried and per nautical mile traveled) of these ships exceeds the international requirements by 15% for the Capesize vessels and 25% for the Handysize.
